ANSWER:

Lovenox is a blood thinner. It is fine however for you to have your teeth cleaned while you are on the drug. You do not need to stop it for regular dental visits. If your gums are inflamed it may prolong how long they bleed, but does not cause the bleeding. In other words if your gums were healthy they would not bleed just because you are on Lovenox, if they are not healthy they will bleed whether you are on the drug on not, the only difference is once they start bleeding it will take longer for the bleeding to stop because of the medication.
