QUESTION:
There is swelling on the upper right inside of my gum. What is that?
ANSWER:
A swelling in the roof of your mouth could be anything from a normal overgrowth of bone to an infected tooth to some type of tumor. I recommend you see a dentist as soon as possible to have it evaluated and treated if need be before it becomes painful or results in loss of the tooth or spreads if it is some type of tumor. I have a friend in the Baltimore area by the name of Tom Daley. I suggest you call his office and set up a consultation to determine if the area requires treatment or not. His number is 410-321-9607. His address is 521 E Joppa RD suite 200 Towson, MD 21286.
Hope this helps.
