Also known as halitosis. Bad breath is a condition caused by overgrowth of bacteria in the mouth which create odor. Most bad breath is a result of bacteria growing on the tongue, but it may also be from severe periodontal infection, consumption of onion and garlic, or uncontrolled diabetes.
