QUESTION:
How much do dental implants generally cost?
ANSWER:
This is an excellent question. An Implant is actually a three piece tooth replacement system. The implant itself usually cost between $1500 and $2500 if it is done by someone reputable, this may or may not include the middle piece called the Abutment. If it does not the abutment may cost anywhere from $400 to $1500, and then the crown on top may cost anywhere from $800 to $2000.
No fees vary widely from area to area and office to office and implants tend to be the best value over time in terms of replacing a lost tooth. I suggest you see a Periodontist in your area for and evaluation as they can give you better estimates for your area. One last word of Caution Beware of advertisements promising free or inexpensive implants. They are either using cheep materials or they are raising the price for something else.
Hope this helps,
